Salford City FC Foundation is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Outreach Youth Worker to join our Community Engagement team.
This exciting new role has been created as the Foundation continues to grow its outreach work, delivering programmes that make a real difference to young people’s lives across Salford and beyond.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering our outreach programmes, including the Transport for Greater Manchester Anti-Social Behaviour Change Programme, while supporting wider community engagement initiatives. Working alongside partners including Transport for Greater Manchester and TravelSafe, you’ll help young people access positive opportunities and progress into education, employment and other meaningful destinations.
This is a varied, community-focused role that involves evening delivery across five days each week, with work taking place throughout Salford and the wider Greater Manchester area. Applicants must hold a minimum Level 2 Youth Work Practice qualification and have experience working with children and young people in community settings.
The full-time position offers a salary of £25,000–£28,000 and the opportunity to join one of Greater Manchester’s fastest-growing football charities.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people, building positive relationships and helping create safer, stronger communities. If you’re motivated, approachable and committed to making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
