Salford City FC Foundation Recruiting a Senior Community Engagement Manager

Salford City FC Foundation is excited to announce an outstanding opportunity to join our growing team as Senior Community Engagement Manager.

As the Foundation continues to expand its community impact, we are looking for an experienced and passionate leader to drive the strategic development, coordination and delivery of our Community Engagement programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a leading role in shaping projects that improve lives through sport, education and inclusive community engagement.

The successful candidate will oversee a diverse portfolio of outreach, youth and community programmes, ensuring they deliver meaningful outcomes for participants while meeting the Foundation’s strategic priorities and funding objectives. Working closely with colleagues, local authorities, schools, community organisations and funding partners, the role will focus on developing high-quality provision that strengthens communities and creates positive opportunities for people across Salford and beyond.

The Senior Community Engagement Manager will also lead and support a dedicated team of community professionals, championing continuous improvement through effective performance management, impact reporting and partnership development. The role will play a key part in identifying new funding opportunities, developing strategic partnerships and ensuring all programmes continue to deliver measurable social impact.

This full-time position is based in Salford, working 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £32,000–£38,000.

We’re seeking an experienced community leader with a passion for creating positive change. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing community engagement programmes, building successful partnerships and leading high-performing teams. Strong organisational, communication and project management skills are essential, alongside a commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion. Experience within the sport, education or charity sector would be highly advantageous.
